Interim Senior Manager Organizational Effectiveness

This is a 6 month interim assignment for our client, a global brand, located in the Cardiff area. They are seeking an Interim Global Senior Manager Organizational Development. Fully supported by their inspirational Chief Executive and senior management, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to assist this organisation as they experience transformation in line with their commitment to continuous improvement in managing and developing their employees. Fully remote working can be considered as well as hybrid depending on location. Reporting to the Global Head of Compensation and Benefits, you will deliver key Organizational Effectiveness priorities which include:

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000

  • Leading the Workforce Planning and Organization Design workstream build the framework and guidance to help HR and Business leaders understand their organization and, where needed, guide the redesign to align with the structure and operations globally
  • Using input from key stakeholders, conduct a comprehensive organization structure mapping that includes job families, a key skills inventory, span of control, networks, culture, employee experience of selected departments to understand current work organization within their departments
  • Taking into account key stakeholders input, you will develop and embed an organization redesign framework to assist leaders prepare, plan and implement future redesign initiatives
  • Educate key stakeholders including HRBPs as well as relevant business leaders on the new guidance
  • Manage implementation of succession and talent planning framework
  • Working closely with HR and team leaders, review succession plans regularly, identifying and selecting high potential candidates and draw up individual development plans for development opportunities
  • Identify key information and lessons learnt for future strengthening succession planning, adjusting framework and guidance where required
  • Ensure L&D and Employee Engagement outcomes are met
  • Support global L&D team globally to ensure scope and plans are implemented

The successful candidate will have:

  • Education/experience  in Organizational Development or Change management or relevant field(s)
  • Experience in designing and managing organization design, workforce planning and succession planning initiatives and can act as SME
  • Sound interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Coaching style of leadership and is adept at preparing and equipping staff on new concepts and guidance across regional and functional stakeholders
  • Experience working in matrix and or international organizations
  • Strong analytical and data presentation skills
  • Well able to priotise workload and
