As an organisation that is fully customer centric, our client operates at the very heart of the community.  Currently on a journey of transformation and change, now is the critical time to deliver quality HR services to support the business strategy.  As Head of HR and Customer Services, you will -    

  • Design and implement a recruitment strategy
  • Oversee and manage recruitment, upskill managers
  • Liaise with HR Director to develop an employee engagement strategy
  • Lead on Quality across all HR processes, adopting a continuous improvement approach and ensuring all HR quality objectives are met
  • Manage employee relations – absence, disciplinary, grievance – advising, coaching and supporting managers
  • Ensure all record keeping is fully maintained and up to date
  • Ensure all Safeguarding regulatory requirements and processes are fully observed
  • Conduct training needs analysis, further develop in-house training programmes including a programme of client learning, coach line managers to lead change across performance management, recruitment, absence management
  • Managing all complaints handling
  • Manage a small team.

We are looking for a Head of HR and Customer Services who has –

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent understanding of current employment law
  • Sound all round HR generalist experience to include employee engagement, performance improvement as well as reward and retention initiatives 
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Good organisation, prioritisation and planning skills
  • A high level of IT proficiency.
