This role is full time but also has the potential for compressed hours over 4 days a week.  We are looking for a talented HR Business Partner with an impressive employee relations track record within a large organisation where the pace has been fast and furious. This customer group is diverse and experience within a complex organisation will provide you with an immediate platform to credibly partner with senior leaders and HR colleagues.

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering you will –

  • Be a HR role model across the business helping to achieve the organisation's strategic vision
  • Develop strong relationships with senior leaders and HR colleagues
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to identify their needs so as to develop a local strategic plan
  • Have a creative and innovative approach to HR with fresh ideas on maximising performance
  • Use continuous improvement as well as a coaching style of leadership to enable line managers to take accountability
  • Challenge stakeholders and teams when necessary
  • Coach and develop managers to have clear and open conversations with their people about their strengths, limitations, development needs and career aspirations so as to develop personal development plans to drive performance
  • Design and deliver training to help achieve this type of culture and performance.

We are looking for a well experienced HR Business Partner who -

  • Is ideally CIPD qualified/has the relevant depth and breadth of HR experience
  • Has experience as a true HR generalist where you have provided both operational and strategic support within a large, complex organisation
  • Has used a coaching style of leadership to motivate others to drive performance
  • Has sound business savvy and thrives on culture change
  • Wants to make a significant impact on an organisation
  • When confronted with resistance, has an influencing style that both engages and challenges senior stakeholders.
