This highly coveted 3 day a week role is a HR generalist position.  It can also work well as a flexible working arrangement.  Our client is a well established business with headquarters in the US and also has a global presence.  Reporting to the Financial Controller, the HR Manager can look forward to joining a friendly, professional business where work life balance is valued.  You will -   

  • Manage end to end recruitment and on boarding
  • Monitor, review and update all HR policies and staff handbook
  • Advise and support management on disciplinaries, grievances, policies, procedures and employment law
  • Review sickness trends , liaising with management to keep levels as low as possible
  • Coach and mentor all levels of management on people processes
  • Co-ordinate performance appraisal process
  • Co-ordinate talent mapping and succession planning
  • Support on employee engagement
  • Undertake various HR projects
  • Participate in a culture of continuous improvement
  • Generate MI reports for senior management – headcount, absence, turnover
  • Balance business and employee needs

Either fully or partly CIPD qualified, you will have previously advised and supported managers on key HR processes of recruitment, salary benchmarking, disciplinary. grievance and terminations.   Analytical with an eye for detail and data accuracy, you will be highly organised.  You will be personable and an excellent communicator, someone who has the ability to build sound relationships across all levels.  A sound knowledge of employment law is essential as is a high level of IT literacy.
