HR Manager

Location: Cwmbran

Type: Permanent

Salary: £40,000

Reporting to the General Manager, you will:

  • Provide stand alone HR support for Head Office and one small site with very occasional travel
  • Manage entire employee lifecycle – recruiting, drafting and issuing contracts, onboarding, maintaining personnel files, terminating employment
  • Provide strategic HR input ensuring employee welfare and engagement are considered in all business decisions
  • Positively challenge senior management either to protect the business or where appropriate
  • Monitor, review and update all HR policies and staff handbook
  • Coach and mentor all levels of management, identifying areas for improvement and development
  • Review sickness absence trends ensuring levels remain as low as possible
  • Coordinate all training, maintain performance development plans ensuring robust succession planning
  • Undertake HR projects
  • Research and implement an HR System
  • Liaise with management to present monthly MI reports
  • Administer all staff data, control employee benefits package

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • CIPD qualified
  • Managed recruitment including social media
  • Handled disciplinary, grievance, terminations
  • Previously advised and supported managers on key, sometimes complex HR processes
  • Experience of corporate processes
  • High level of IT proficiency
