Organisational Development Partner

As the world of work continues to evolve rapidly, our client, a leading organisation and key player in the Welsh marketplace has created a new OD Partner role. The role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to and shape the People Plan which is currently being developed to support their business strategy for the next decade. You will help shape the OD agenda from the outset and influence future work opportunities both in the UK and globally. The role can be 4 days a week or full time and is 50/50 hybrid working. Reporting to the Director of OD and working cross functionally, you will:

Organisational Development Partner

Type: Permanent

Salary: £43,000 to £50,000

  • Work closely with key managers across the organisation to develop a suitable methodology to identify trends and challenges so as to manage current and future skills sets
  • Liaise with colleagues to harness opportunities arising from technological advancements such as AI and robotics assessing their impact on job design and skill sets
  • Identify future OD trends, challenges and opportunities so as to develop a talent management system to support its own talent within the organisation
  • Ensure the methodology is embedded into HR management practices across the entire employee lifecycle so as to maximise engagement and efficiency
  • Working across the organisation, develop a framework for leadership, job design, career pathways

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • CIPD qualified
  • A strong understanding of the HR function and Organisational Design with experience of developing a competency framework for leadership
  • Can look at organisational structures, job design to optimise efficiency and job satisfaction
  • Build career pathways for professional and senior staff
  • Will have worked cross functionally within an organisation
  • An innovative thinker, can identify OD opportunities, challenges and provide the best solution
  • Engages with colleagues, builds sound working relationships using a consultative approach
  • Enjoys researching, analysing information, can understand the impact of proposals on people management
  • Strong project management experience with positive outcomes
