Learning and Development Advisor

This role will work with Heads of Departments and Senior Managers supporting their teams’ development. Reporting to the CEO and working within the HR team, the L&D Advisor will deliver high quality training for all new starters and existing/current employees including onboarding, supporting technology training needs and supporting any other cross function HR activities as required.

Reporting to the CEO, you will:
- Contribute towards and drive the delivery of the L&D strategy
- Be a coach and support for Managers and Senior Management in the business
- Partner with Senior Leaders to identify L&D requirements across the business and develop career pathways for employees
- Conduct skills gap analysis and deliver tailored workshops across the business functions
- Design a range of learning programmes covering technical, behavioural and leadership
- Drive a culture of continuous professional development sourcing appropriate training
- Identify CPD requirements and support the HR team to ensure employees are best equipped to fulfil their role
- Support the L&D Coordinator with building a skills matrix and knowledge banks
- Create and deliver HR Induction and Onboarding from design through to delivery ensuring new starters feel welcome, informed and connected to colleagues and the business
- Support design and delivery of HR workshops – Absence, Performance, Effective Communication, Time Management
- Support recently launched Professional Development Programme for excellent customer service, talent mapping and staff development
- Coordinate Talent Programmes - eg People Management Toolkits, 360 Feedback, Development Programmes
- Drive culture of continuous professional development, sourcing appropriate training
- Coordinate Talent and Succession planning
- Establish IiP and accreditation process
- Coordinate Graduate and Apprentice programmes, liaise with Universities and Colleges, build talent pipeline
- Ad hoc project work
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Be degree qualified, ideally with a post graduate qualification/part or fully CIPD qualified/have recognised training qualification
- Be accustomed to developing and delivering online training courses
- Have expertise in and experience of development and delivery of high standard training courses
- Have worked in a fast changing highly professional environment, delivering high quality courses
- Track record in delivering excellent staff outcomes using training and building online communities
- Have a flexible, highly energetic approach with the ability to thrive in a fast changing business with a collaborative, high delivery culture
- Have capability to support HR functions as well as training requirements
- Have a good understanding of communication tools – eg Teams
- Be highly tech savvy with excellent level of IT proficiency essential and a good understanding of communication tools – ie MS Teams
- Enjoy working remotely with professional people and subject experts
