This newly created Talent Acquisition Lead in Cardiff is initially interim for 12 months with the strong potential for permanency. Talent Acquisition Lead

Location: Cardiff

Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £38,000

A varied role covering the full life cycle of recruitment and multiple disciplines, you will:

  • Understand the company’s values and how best to engage with new talent across their website, social media, job boards
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements while at the same time  developing a strong rapport within the business
  • Provide advice and guidance, coaching where necessary, to hiring managers on all aspects of recruitment, interviewing and onboarding
  • Examine their existing ATS, make recommendations to streamline the recruitment process for candidates and hiring managers, identifying any gaps, proposing and implementing changes for an improved service
  • Build sound candidate relationships
  • Organise career fairs, open days

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • CIPD qualified, ideally
  • Ambitious and looking for that special opportunity in recruitment which they can make their own
  • Well experienced in, has a passion for and wants to make a tangible difference to the organisation’s recruitment and selection
  • Interested in people, thrives on developing sound business relationships both internally and externally
  • Confident with their IT skills, MI reporting and proficient on ATS systems
