HR Business Partner
Based in Blackwood and working across Gwent, Ebbw Vale and RCT, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a role with a lot of autonomy, working for a well known charity. HR Business Partner

Salary: £35,000
- Partner with Managers on end to end recruitment, assisting with advertising, sifting CVs, attending interviews, onboarding
- Support managers with casework, performance management, capability, absence management, TUPE and ER cases including complex HR matters and decision making
- Provide advice and suggest solutions, guiding managers ensuring best practice using a trauma informed approach
- Work closely together with the Head of People and HR team to ensure consistency across organisation
- Assist Head of HR in updating HR policies, procedures, practices
- Assist managers to interpret HR policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with latest HR tends, modern working practices, EDI sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain HR reports and metrics, recommending improvements
- When required, visit sites in your own area and attend team meetings
- Participate in organisation-wide HR projects
- Create MI reports and metrics to improve performance
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- Ideally CIPD Level 5/working towards or be willing to study towards (support is provided)
- A true team player, enthusiastic, motivated and approachable
- Well experienced HR Generalist with experience of complex HR casework, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE
- Sound current knowledge of Employment Law
- Flexible, well able to prioritise competing demands
- Analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Accustomed to and enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment
- Passionate about delivering high standard customer service
- Experience of line management
- Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
- Have driver’s licence and own vehicle
