Interim Strategic Senior HR Business Partner

This role can also be part time. It offers hybrid working with flexibility.

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Senior HR Business Partner to lead and support managers through a significant period of organisational change. This is a key role focusing on providing strategic HR leadership to ensure the restructuring activity is delivered in a fair, compliant and people centred way while maintaining operational continuity. Working closely with senior leadership and operational managers, the successful candidate will:

Salary: £75.000 - £100,000

  • Guide managers through consultation processes, including collective and individual consultation whenever applicable
  • Ensure all activities comply with employment law, organisational policy and best practice
  • Coach and support managers in handling complex people matters sensitively and effectively
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support employment engagement and minimise disruption
  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate change clearly and effectively across the organisation
  • Identify and mitigate employee risks during the transition period
  • Work closely with HR colleagues and stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment across the organisation
  • Provide insight and reporting to senior leadership on progress, risks and outcomes of the restructure

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • FCIPD qualification/relevant qualification
  • Significant experience in a senior HR Business partnering role, ideally at strategic or director level interface
  • Strong commercial acumen, resilience and the ability to navigate complex people issues while maintaining trust and engagement across the organisation
  • Demonstrable experience leading organisational restructuring and complex change programmes
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law particularly in relation to consultation and redundancy programmes
  • Proven ability to coach and influence senior managers through challenging people decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience of managing employee relations risk during organisational change
